Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience to this:

The sound effects for the Raven pet are realistic enough that my cat has tried to hunt the bird through the monitor.

I've never had anything like that happen. Then again, I always wear headphones, so the cat wouldn't be able to hear it anyways.

Besides, cats like to attack almost anything that moves. They also love walking on keyboards -_-

P.S. I think we have the same monitor.

Nope, but once my cat was trying to chase my Miniature Aatxe through my computer screen, she was moving back and fourth and looking for him behind the screen too, it was very amusing.

My cat did something like that once. He jumped on my lap and never took his eyes off my Melandru's Stalker.

i turn the sound off and turn on my soundtacks for other music guild wars soundtracks get really boring after you listen to them to much but,

my cat looks at the moving objects i think they like the bird image it ran into my rainbow phoniex the otherday and knocked over my monitor

I would have thought it was just the moving bird he was pawing at, except that we always have speakers on and various other pets/minis roaming around. To date, this is the first time he's gone after something on the computer monitor. T'was rather funny to see my fat cat stalk toward the desk & bound up after the cawing raven ... truthfully, I think he's just sad and reminiscing of warmer weather (he's housebound for the winter).

P.S. That is the hubby's monitor - mine is LG - but still, a good monitor.

Im obastables hubby btw.. and we tried to get some video of the cat.. but i do think he was on to our little plan.. and quickly made off as soon as i clicked the camera from still to video

From a game audio designer I Wouldn't put it down that sound orginally came from a real bird and then processed....

LOL, my cat tries to play with the Melandru's Stalker. It's funny because it's growling is the only thing she really responds to. She gets all excited and starts batting at it.

When I first got my black widow on my ranger my parent came into my room and asked me why a spider is crawling on my screen >.>

Also, if I run a pet build in RA/TA my dog always barks at the snow wolf on the screen.

The combat sounds are a little bland, but the atmospheric noises are really good. Especially the waterfalls... once, I had stopped to take a screenshot of a pretty waterfall, it was so loud and realistic that I couldn't hear anyone speaking on Ventrilo...

My cat responded to Neverwinter Nights's cat cries.

She got al hyped up when earing them, and started looking for the cats she was hearing.

My cat sometimes also sits in my lap and watches the screen.
Se pays a lot of attention specially when I watch series, movies or television (TV via internet, f course, I own no TV receptor).
